Payment

All orders placed on our site are sold and shipped by licensed retailers of the Bevstack merchant network.

Most of our retail partners accept all major credit and debit cards including American Express, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.

Additional forms of payment include Apple Pay, PayPal, and Affirm. If you do not see this option during checkout, our retail partner does not accept this form of payment.

Your credit card or bank statement will show your order charge as “BEVSTACK-WINE/LIQR”, “Liquor & Wine Warehouse” or “BEVSTACK”.

Returns & Refunds

All sales are final and returns or exchanges are not accepted. However, if your order was damaged during shipment, the goods you received does not match your order, or there is anything missing from your order, email us at orders@mezcalum.com within 3 days of receiving the shipment with a picture of the damage or incorrect items.

Once the evidence of the damaged or incorrect goods is received and inspected or an undeliverable item is returned, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received it. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund or replacement. If your refund is approved, then it will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card.

In the event that your order meets the criteria for a refund, you should expect to see funds returned to your original form of payment within 3-5 business days. The exact timing is dependent upon your financial institution.

Sediment in Mezcal

Mezcalum is crafted using traditional methods that retain natural fatty acids and minerals from the agave distillation process. These elements can sometimes solidify, especially in colder temperatures or when the bottle has been sitting undisturbed.

A quick shake or warming the bottle slightly will typically disperse them, and enjoy the spirit as it was meant to be—pure, unaltered, and full of flavor.

Yes! Fatty acid precipitation is a natural occurrence in artisanal mezcal, especially in higher-proof or unfiltered varieties. These particles do not affect the quality or safety of the mezcal and will often disappear when the liquid is gently warmed or stirred.

No, fatty acid precipitation does not alter the flavor or aroma of the mezcal. In fact, some mezcal enthusiasts believe these natural compounds contribute to a richer texture and mouthfeel.

As an artisanal mezcal made following traditional methods, we avoid chill filtration, as this process can strip away some of the spirit’s unique flavors and character. The presence of sediment is a natural occurrence and a testament to our commitment to preserving the full integrity of Mezcalum.

While sediment is a natural feature of artisanal mezcal, storing your bottle at room temperature and giving it a gentle swirl before pouring can help keep the liquid evenly mixed. If you prefer a clearer pour, straining through a fine mesh or coffee filter is an easy solution.
