Spice Up Your Happy Hour

Ingredients:

  • 3 cucumber slices
  • 1/2 oz agave nectar
  • 2 oz Mezcalum mezcal
  • 3/4 oz fresh lime juice
  • 3/4 oz passion fruit puree
  • Ginger beer, chilled, to top
  • A pinch of salt
  • Cucumber slice and candied ginger for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Muddle Fresh Ingredients: Begin by adding cucumber slices and agave nectar to a shaker. Muddle these ingredients together to release the flavor of the fresh cucumber.
  2. Mix Your Cocktail: In the same shaker, combine 2 oz of Mezcalum mezcal with 3/4 oz of fresh lime juice, and 3/4 oz of passion fruit puree. Shake well.
  3. Combine and Garnish: Strain into a copper mug over fresh ice. If you don't have a copper mug, serve in a rocks glass with ice. Top it up with ginger beer for that bubbly, spicy goodness. Garnish with a slice of cucumber and a piece of candied ginger.
  4. Enjoy: Sip and savor the complex layers of your Mezcal Mule.

  • 1 oz Mezcalum mezcal 
  • 3/4 oz Aperol
  • 1/2 oz fresh grapefruit juice
  • 4 oz sparkling wine
  • Grapefruit twist (for garnish)

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Prep the Glass: Begin by expressing a grapefruit twist into the bottom of an empty wine glass to release its essential oils. Drop the twist into the glass for added zest.
  2. Ice, Ice Baby: Add five ice cubes to the glass to keep your spritz chilled and refreshing.

  • 3/4 ounce Mezcal (preferably Mezcalum’s artisanal mezcal)
  • 3/4 ounce Aperol
  • 3/4 ounce Yellow Chartreuse
  • 3/4 ounce Lime Juice (freshly squeezed)

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Combine Ingredients: Add all ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
  2. Shake: Shake vigorously until well-chilled.
  3. Strain: Strain the mixture into a chilled coupe glass.
